The Knights of Columbus will once again sponsor a Lenten Fish Fry on Fridays during Lent begining Feb 16 through March 23,  the dinner will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. in the church hall.  Dinner will consist of fried flounder or catfish – fries, cole slaw  and hush puppies – coffee or water.  Cheese pizza and macaroni and cheese will also be available. There will be a $1 charge for soft drinks and ice tea.   Price will be $8.00 per person or a family meal for $30.

The Knights of Columbus had their first blood drive of the year on 2/4/18. Thank you to all those who donated to make our Blood drive a success. We had 24 donors present to donate and 26 units of blood were collected. Our goal was 30 units. Please support our next Blood drive and help us exceed our goals! Mark your calendars,

Our next Blood drive is scheduled for may 20, 2018.

Lenten Reminder


Catholics 14 and older are to abstain from meat on all Fridays of Lent. Abstinence forbids the use of meat, but not of eggs, milk products, condiments, sauces, and other things made from meat.


Catholics ages 18 to 59, who are physically able, are to fast on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday. This means we are permitted to eat one full meal. Two smaller meals may be taken, not to equal one full meal.

 This Lent encounter the Passion of Christ through the Traditional Latin Mass

From beginning to end, the Latin Mass is filled with prayers and ceremonies signifying the Passion of Christ. This Lent you’re invited to encounter it each Sunday at these locations: 
9:00 AM Sunday Low (Silent) Mass – Sundays February 11 – March 25
Charlotte Catholic High School chapel, 7702 Pineville-Matthews Road, Charlotte
12:30 PM Sunday High (Sung) Mass - every Sunday (fellowship coffee afterwards)
