St. John Neumann Catholic Church Faith Formation Enrollment 2020-2021 |
||
Dear parents, It is almost time to enroll your children in classes for the 2020-2021 Faith Formation year! By taking just a few minutes to review the materials on these pages, you can ensure that the enrollment process is smooth and simple. Here are a few quick tips: Enroll Early! The earlier you enroll, the more options you have regarding session times and payment options. Enroll All! Please enroll ALL your children, even in non-Sacramental years. Keeping your children enrolled each year not only shows them the importance of growing in their faith, but also allows them to be on track to celebrate the Sacraments with their friends and classmates. And with the SJN Family Fee, it should add little or no cost to your payment. Plus, we love seeing their smiling faces every year! Pray about Teaching! What we do is impossible without the dedicated men and women who serve as catechists. Could God be calling you to join these wonderful disciples? The rewards are priceless! (And the 50% discount doesn’t hurt either!) Ask Questions! Please do not hesitate to ask questions when you have them. We are here to serve! 2020-2021 Updates
*CoVid update! Due to the current health recomendations from the CDC, we will only host in-person classes on campus for students that are in their last year of sacramental prep. All other students will be moved to our Home Based program. We also still have the Home Based option for all students just like we have had in past years. Two Program Models We are excited to expand our Faith Formation program options in an effort to offer opportunities for faith development that meet the needs of each family. Depending on the grade level and sacramental needs of your children, you will be able to choose from one of two models: Traditional or Family Home-based. Parent Resources and Support As parents, you are the primary catechists (teachers) of the faith for your children. What your children learn at Faith Formation should be supplemental to what they are learning at home on a daily basis. Look for resources and enrichment events from the Faith Formation office to support you in your role as primary catechist. Traditional Parish-Based ProgramClasses take place at the parish once a week throughout the school year. Volunteer catechists needed!
