To my Dear St. John Neumann Family…

We recognize in the Ascension of the Lord the fulfillment of God’s promises to us. When the Lord returned to the Father he brought with him our human flesh. Humanity has been returned to Paradise to live with God. When our first parents sinned and were cast out of the garden and life with God, they were promised a savior. That savior is the Lord who has redeemed us by his passion, death and resurrection. The sign of our redemption is the ascension of our human flesh to the right hand of God the Father Almighty. We received the call of the Lord to follow him, to be baptized and receive the Holy Spirit. Enlightened by the Holy Spirit we have the hope to follow the Lord to his heavenly kingdom. May we all realize and give thanks to God for all that he has done for us.

Reconocemos en la Ascensión del Señor el cumplimiento de las promesas de Dios para nosotros. Cuando el Señor regresó al Padre trajo consigo nuestra carne humana. La humanidad ha regresado al Paraíso para vivir con Dios. Cuando nuestros primeros padres pecaron y fueron expulsados del jardín y de la vida con Dios, se les prometió un salvador. Ese salvador es el Señor que nos ha redimido con su pasión, muerte y resurrección. El signo de nuestra redención es la ascensión de nuestra carne humana a la diestra de Dios Padre Todopoderoso. Recibimos el llamado del Señor para seguirlo, para ser bautizados y recibir el Espíritu Santo. Iluminados por el Espíritu Santo tenemos la esperanza de seguir al Señor a su reino celestial. Que todos nos demos cuenta y demos gracias a Dios por todo lo que ha hecho por nosotros.
